Unique and exciting opportunity to run an expanding arts initiative
Lismore Castle Arts is a not-for-profit art gallery exhibiting and promoting internationally significant contemporary artists. Since inception in 2005 it has earned a reputation for presenting challenging and innovative art in the picturesque surroundings of Co Waterford. Currently the gallery programme includes one major exhibition a year, running for six months, together with a comprehensive programme of tours, lectures, workshops, community links and other arts related events.
Lismore Castle Arts welcomes applications for the post of Director, to take daily charge of all aspects of the gallery and management of the exhibition programme. The successful candidate will be dynamic, highly organized, self-motivated, reliable individual with a sound understanding of, and passion for, contemporary visual art. They will relish the chance to explore opportunities outside the commercial or institutional art world. They will also have experience in delivering budgets, dealing with public relations and be adept at managing a small team.
