Temple Bar Cultural Trust (TBCT) is seeking to engage Production Management Services for 2009.

 

We organise over 200 free outdoor cultural events each year. Cultural events for 2009 include:
•       Weekly Temple Bar Markets
•       Dublin Handel Festival, April 13th – 19th
•       Midsummer Fair, June 20th – 21st
•       Temple Bar Circus Festival, July 9th – 12th
•       Dublin Culture Night, September 25th
•       Temple Bar Chocolate Festival, October 30th – November 1st

Service requirement
•       To deliver production services within agreed budgets and timelines
•       To manage and strictly control the production budget, abiding by the company’s financial systems.
•       To manage, be responsible for and strictly control every event for duration of contract.
•       Be responsible for production/updating of TBCT Event Management Plans, Health & Safety Plans, Environmental Policy and Child Protection Policy
•       To assist in the overall venue management and coordination with Production Executive
•       Be responsible for stage management for all company performances/events
•       To plan and produce production schedules in consultation with the Production team and relevant TBCT staff.
•       To advise of Technical Requirements to deliver events.
•       To recruit and manage all additional production staff, stewards & security, as required
•       To maintain or organise regular maintenance of all in house equipment, as necessary
•       To source and hire all additional technical equipment, as required
•       To keep record of all elements of  operations
•       To be responsible for ensuring that all staging complies with licensing and health and safety regulations, that the venues are always a safe working environment and that all persons follow TBCT and Theatre health and safety policy.
•       To complete appropriate risk assessments for all TBCT events.
•       To act always in the best interests of TBCT Festivals and Events.

 

Experience
•       Event and festival production experience.
•       Computer skills
•       Excellent knowledge and experience in AV and sound and lighting (both live and studio).
•       Experience of working with International companies and acts.
•       Theatre production management experience (freelance experience desirable)
•       Event Technical management experience.
•       Evidence of dealing successfully with various contractors and personnel in agencies such as Dublin City Council, An Garda Síochána, and others.
•       First aid at work certificate (desirable)
•       Full, clean driving license (desirable)
