GAZE Film Festival
Founded in 1992, GAZE, The Dublin International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival takes place annually over the August bank holiday weekend in the Irish Film Institute. The Film Festival exists to challenge and expand cultural cinema in Ireland through showcasing of the best in Lesbian and Gay film to the public.
GAZE Film Festival seeks to appoint a festival manager. The position will be offered on a short term contract basis. Reporting to the Board, the manager will work with the festival programmers and host venues to deliver the 2009 festival.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
Experience of festival and event management?
Excellent writing and editing skills
Experience of marketing, PR, and fundraising
Financial management experience?
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ?
The ability to work as part of a team.
