Position | Low Buget Fiction Fund
Company Name | Northern Ireland Screen
Description |
Northern Ireland Screen is now seeking Northern Ireland writers of both feature film and television and is particularly keen on receiving comedy scripts. A producer does not need to be attached to a project at this stage. In the first instance, applicants should contact Natasha Geary, Development Executive, between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday-Wednesday by email at natasha@northernirelandscreen.co.uk or by phone on +44 (0)28 9023 2444 for an application form. Thereafter applicants will be asked to submit a detailed treatment (for television) or a first draft (for feature film) with a copy of their CV. The Low Budget Fiction Fund supports one production each year and is worth £150,000, being 75% of a maximum production budget of £200,000. (This year feature film 'Pumpgirl' from a play by Abbie Spallen has received funding).
