Sing Ireland supports a diverse community of choirs, choral directors, and singers, fostering a love for collective singing through participation, education, outreach, and performance opportunities.
Sing Ireland is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Officer to join their team. This vital role is responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting, with the Team, the administrative needs of the organisation.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoices, payments, and receipts promptly and accurately.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, ensuring the responsible allocation of funds.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports and statements as necessary, with the assistance of the Team.
- Audit Support: Collaborate with the CEO and external auditors (if required) during annual audits.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organised and up-to-date financial and administrative records.
- Administration: Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks in collaboration with the Team.
- Support: Assist in scheduling staff meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes as needed.
- Membership Support: Provide administrative support to Sing Ireland's members, addressing inquiries and maintaining membership payments and records.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist the Team in ensuring that Sing Ireland complies with all relevant financial and regulatory requirements.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of finance and administrative policies and procedures.
Contract Type: Part-Time as a member of the Executive Team. The initial 12-month contract will be offered in the expectation that it will continue past this period.
