Light House Cinema is a vibrant, ever-changing space, with a reputation for nurturing creativity and a commitment to all strands of cinema. Alongside regular Light House film programming, the venue runs a wide range of event and special screening hires for industry, corporate and private clients. We are seeking a Front of House Manager - Events to join our venue team.

Reporting to the Events Manager, the role involves supporting the delivery of corporate and industry hires.

Key responsibilities include the co-ordination, administration, and communications around bookings, as well as the smooth
running of the events themselves.

In addition to external hires, the role would also be required to contribute to the delivery of internal events organised to enhance Light House programming for special screenings and season strands.

The role requires a driven and ambitious individual with a passion for cinema, as well as the flexibility to adapt to the ever-shifting spectrum of activity which takes place daily at Light House.

The position will at times be required to step in as acting Duty Manager & keyholder should it be required, with responsibilities including, staff management, venue safety and security, and customer experience.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects or events
• Strong relationship building skills
• Ability to identify priorities and problem solve
• Flexibility to work a range of shift times, including evenings, and some weekends from time to time

Key responsibilities:
• Work directly with the Events Manager to respond to all enquiries, schedule viewing appointments, and track
• Provide administrative support including drafting contracts and managing invoices.
• Plan, and deliver events individually and/or coordinate staff for both industry and corporate clients across a
wide spectrum of events which include premieres, previews, conferences, launches, and film festivals
• Assist with direct day-to-day management of sales & event enquiries including sales quotes, proposals, follow
up, contracting, and logistical planning as well as client face to face interactions
• Collaborate with our team to build events alongside for programme and dedicated events to compliment Light House Cinema's offer
